5th Avenue Mile on Sept 11, 2022
Target Goal: 4:45 Mile. Actual: 5:29.
Race Performance: Started it off at a 4:30 pace for the first quarter, proceeded to relax - ~6:00 for the next 0.3, then 5:45 for the next 0.25 and finished at 5:20 pace for the final 100 meters. I didn’t feel tired at all post-race which was a positive indicator
Things to change: start increasing weight push up training, start jump rope training, and more hill sets
Berlin Marathon on Sept 25, 2022
Target Goal: 3:30. Actual: 3:22
Race Performance: Perfect race with a triple PR, to go the next level and break 3:00 in London its important to keep weekly mileage at 50-70 miles
